Terms of Use
Welcome to Dropzona. By accessing this site or using the Dropzona service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dropzona. Dropzona is operated by an independent, early-stage company. The service is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis and is improved continuously, so features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.
What Dropzona is
Dropzona is a tool that lets Twitch streamers automate skin giveaways using CS2 Game State Integration. A streamer connects their Twitch and Steam accounts and pre-funds a prize balance in cryptocurrency, accepted through our third-party payments partner and held by our third-party skin-platform partner. When a configured in-game event fires, Dropzona selects an eligible viewer and, using the streamer's prepaid balance, acquires the prize skin and delivers it to that viewer's Steam account through the Steam trade link they provided.
Streamers fund drops in advance from their own balance and may withdraw unused balance, subject to verification and applicable law. Dropzona purchases each prize on the streamer’s behalf using that balance and does not buy, sell, trade, or broker skins for its own account or for profit — it is not a skin marketplace. Skins are sourced through, and trades executed over, third-party markets and Steam, whose prices, availability, restrictions, and uptime we do not control.
Eligibility
To use Dropzona you must meet the minimum age required by Twitch and Steam (and any higher minimum where you live), comply with their terms of service, and be legally permitted to run or participate in promotional giveaways where you live. You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher — to create an account, fund or top up a balance, or withdraw in cryptocurrency. Dropzona is not directed to children, and you are responsible for any laws that apply to you.
Streamer responsibilities
- You're responsible for the legality of any giveaway you run. Local promotional and gambling laws vary — when in doubt, consult a lawyer.
- You're responsible for funding your balance, for the prizes you choose to give away, and for any tax or accounting obligations that result.
- You must comply with Twitch's and Steam's terms while using Dropzona. If those services suspend or restrict your account, your Dropzona drops will be affected.
- You set the rules — what triggers a drop, who is eligible, and what the prize is. Dropzona executes those rules.
Viewer responsibilities
- Entering a drop is free. You never pay Dropzona to enter.
- You're responsible for keeping your Steam Trade URL current and your Steam inventory in a state that can receive trades.
- Skin prizes are subject to Steam's trade restrictions (Mobile Authenticator holds, trade bans, market restrictions). Dropzona has no control over those.
Assumption of risk
CS2 skins are digital items with real-world resale value that can be highly volatile. You acknowledge and accept that:
- Steam trades are final and irreversible once accepted. Dropzona cannot reverse, refund, or recover a trade.
- Skins can be lost, stolen, devalued, or rendered untradeable through scams, phishing, market swings, or actions of Steam or Valve — none of which Dropzona controls.
- Trade offers can fail, expire, or be held due to Steam restrictions, downtime, or an incorrect Trade URL.
You use Dropzona, run drops, and accept prizes entirely at your own risk.
Voluntary participation
Use of Dropzona is entirely voluntary. Every streamer and every viewer chooses, of their own free will, to create an account, connect their Twitch and Steam accounts, fund or withdraw a balance, enter a drop, and accept any prize. By doing so you confirm that you act knowingly and voluntarily, that you meet all eligibility requirements, and that you accept every risk described in these terms. No one is required to participate; nothing here is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice; and you may stop and disconnect at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you use Dropzona at your own risk, and we accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, dispute, or circumstance arising from your use of the service or from any third party, market, network, or platform we rely on.
Crypto balances, top-ups & payments
Streamers pre-fund drops by topping up a prize balance in cryptocurrency. Crypto top-ups are accepted and processed solely by our independent payments partner, OpenSettle (opensettle.io); your prize balance and the skins it funds are held and managed by our third-party skin-platform partner. Dropzona itself never holds, custodies, controls, or has access to your cryptocurrency, private keys, wallets, or funds. Dropzona is not a bank, money-services business, money transmitter, custodian, wallet, exchange, broker, or financial institution, and provides no financial, investment, payment, custody, or exchange services. All top-ups, balances, purchases, withdrawals, and transfers are operated by these third parties over public blockchain networks, markets, exchanges, and processors we do not own or control; their terms apply, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, fees, availability, or security.
- You are solely responsible for your wallet, keys, and the accuracy of any address you provide. Crypto transactions are generally irreversible — once sent, we cannot reverse, refund, or recover them, including transfers to a wrong, incompatible, or compromised address.
- We are not responsible for cryptocurrency price volatility; network, gas, exchange, or processing fees; or delays, congestion, forks, downtime, or failures of any blockchain, market, exchange, or processor.
- We do not control the market price, availability, or supply of any skin, and do not guarantee that any particular skin or value can be acquired or delivered.
- Balances are intended to fund drops. Except where we state otherwise in-product or where required by law, top-ups are non-refundable; withdrawals of unused balance are subject to identity verification, applicable fees, network conditions, and applicable law.
- You are responsible for any taxes arising from funds, prizes, or withdrawals, and you represent that your funds and use of the service are lawful and not connected to fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any illegal activity.
Our role
Dropzona automates a streamer's own giveaway at the streamer's direction and with the streamer's prepaid funds. The streamer sets the rules and funds the prizes; Dropzona acts only as an automated agent that carries them out. The giveaway is offered by the streamer to their viewers — Dropzona is not the promoter or sponsor of any giveaway, does not advise on or guarantee the legality of any drop, and is not responsible for the value, condition, availability, timing, or delivery of any prize, for the conduct of any streamer or viewer, or for any dispute between them. Any prize is provided to a winner as is and without warranty of any kind.
Third-party services we depend on
Dropzona relies on Twitch, Steam, Valve, CS2 Game State Integration, and our hosting and infrastructure provider. These are independent services we do not own or control. They can change, deprecate, rate-limit, suspend, or remove their APIs, accounts, or features at any time. We are not responsible for their availability, decisions, or security, or for any suspension or ban of your Twitch, Steam, or Valve account. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dropzona is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, that any trade offer will be delivered or accepted, or that any defect will be corrected. No advice or information you obtain from us creates any warranty not expressly stated here.
Acceptable use
Don't use Dropzona to:
- Run gambling, betting, lotteries, or paid-entry sweepstakes of any kind.
- Defraud viewers (e.g., advertising prizes you don't intend to deliver).
- Abuse Twitch chat, scrape data, or attack the platform.
- Distribute skins related to fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
- Use bots, scripts, automation, or multiple or fake accounts to manipulate drops, eligibility, winners, or balances.
- Circumvent, disable, reverse-engineer, or probe the service, its security, or its rate limits.
- Violate the terms of Twitch, Steam, Valve, or any third party, or infringe anyone's intellectual-property or other rights.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that harm the platform or its users.
Intellectual property
The Dropzona name, brand, site, and software are ours. You keep ownership of your own content (your Twitch handle, channel branding, and your account and prize balance). Trademarks of third parties (Valve, Steam, Counter-Strike, Twitch, Amazon) are used only for descriptive purposes.
Illustrative content & coincidental similarity
Screenshots, mockups, sample dashboards, usernames, handles, avatars, chat messages, gameplay imagery, prize names, viewer counts, and other examples shown on our website and marketing are for demonstration only. They may use placeholder, fictional, or publicly available data and do not depict real users, real drops, real winners, or guaranteed results or odds. Any resemblance between such examples — including any nickname, handle, name, number, or image — and any real person, account, brand, product, or event is coincidental, and we accept no responsibility for it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dropzona and its owners, employees, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of skins, items, profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or viewers, even if advised of the possibility — whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.
Without limiting the above, Dropzona is not liable for lost, stolen, devalued, or untradeable skins; failed, expired, reversed, or misdirected trades; lost, volatile, or irreversibly sent cryptocurrency, balances, top-ups, or withdrawals, or any network, market, exchange, or processing fees; downtime or errors of Steam, Twitch, Valve, CS2, blockchain networks, markets, or hosting providers; or the suspension or banning of your account on any third-party platform.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dropzona and its owners, employees, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your drops or prizes, your violation of these terms or any law, or your violation of the rights of any third party (including Valve, Steam, Twitch, viewers, or other users).
Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Dropzona at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these terms or pose a risk to the platform or its users. We are not liable to you for any suspension or termination. You may stop using Dropzona and disconnect your accounts at any time. On termination, any unused prize balance is handled by our third-party skin-platform partner, subject to identity verification, applicable fees and holds, and applicable law; we may withhold or forfeit amounts connected to fraud, abuse, chargebacks, sanctions, or breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, assumption of risk, and dispute-resolution sections — survive termination.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages or changes of third-party services, internet or hosting failures, acts of government, or other force-majeure events.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dropzona's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you and Dropzona each waive any right to a jury trial and to bring or join any class, collective, or representative action; claims in small-claims court and claims to protect intellectual property are excluded. Any claim relating to the service must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Dropzona regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.
Changes
We may update these terms as Dropzona evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date and announced in our Discord and on X. Your continued use of Dropzona after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and disconnect your accounts.
General
We may assign these terms to an affiliate or successor; you may not assign yours without our consent. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These terms create no third-party beneficiaries, except that our disclaimers and liability limits also protect our owners, employees, and contributors. Section headings are for convenience only.
